Saudi Arabia’s internal security services, along with military-grade electronic units operating through telecom-linked infrastructure, are testing something on students like me. They don’t leave bruises. They don’t need to. The fear does the rest.
If I had known what this country actually allows within its schools, I would have never come here. I still go to class. I still take tests. But none of this feels like me anymore. And I don’t know how far this will go.
